Multiple Sclerosis

MS can be very debilitating, and symptoms can make it hard to perform simple everyday tasks. Symptoms of MS vary from person to person and can include blurred vision, loss of balance, poor coordination, fatigue, depression, anxiety, speech problems, memory problems and numbness or weakness in the limbs. Cancer

Cancer survival rates are at an all time high. Modern medicine is finding more ways to treat and eliminate cancers of all kinds. However, as treatments become more effective against cancer itself, they become more taxing on the body and side effects are becoming more of a challenge.

Acupuncture has been proven to be an effective method in reducing and possibly eliminating some of the negative effects which accompany cancer such as nausea, vomiting, pain pre or post surgery, and increase energy which is often decreased by cancer medications. The National Institute of Health has openly endorsed the use of Acupuncture in cancer treatment.

Acupuncture is an age-old, time tested method of care which focuses on treatment of the person as a whole. Acupuncture is not a sole-treatment method for cancer. When used in conjunction with modern medicine it packs a powerful punch against the toxicity and symptoms which accompany cancer and modern medicine's treatments.

IBS

Irritable Bowel Syndrome, or IBS, predominantly affects women between the ages of 20 to 40, although some men are affected by it as well. Chinese medicine believes that IBS is caused by imbalances in the spleen. These imbalances cause the spleen and liver to not function optimally, which in turn causes the unpleasant symptoms of IBS. Acupuncture treatments will concentrate on releasing the blockages in the liver and spleen to help alleviate the symptoms of IBS such as diarrhea, abdominal bloating, excessive gas, abdominal pain and heartburn.
